Project Background

The client required a number of vessels with a coating that would provide resistance to chemical and climatic conditions in a very aggressive atmosphere. Because the vessels operate with a surface temperature of +90°C and could not be turned off, most solvent based paints and epoxies could not be used due to the fire risk if the paints were applied.

The Solution

Green Contract Services liased with a major paint manufacturer to find a suitable alternative that met the client's requirements for protection and aesthetics that could be safely applied to a hot surface. Upon agreement with the client we introduced control measures to enable us to complete the work safely and to the client's satisfaction.
