Project Background

Fire stopping and steelwork protection. To retrospectively apply ductwork fire protection to a refurbished area to both existing and new extract ductwork.

The Solution

The Client required a lightweight solution that could be installed to the existing system. Green Contract Services proposed the use of Foil Faced Mineral Wool Rockwool Fire Pro range of ductwork slab to cover the ductwork, supports and hangers to the required fire rating, including the sealing of the penetration positions where ductwork passes through the fire compartmentation positions.
